State Democratic candidates to attend TCU forum

Several Democratic candidates for governor and other statewide offices will appear tonight at Texas Christian University. Gubernatorial candidates former U.S. Ambassador Tom Schieffer, rancher Hank Gilbert and Fort Worth teacher Felix Alvarado are expected to attend, said Lee Henderson, Tarrant County Young Democrats vice president. Other declared candidates have also been invited. Also expected to attend are Marc Katz, running for lieutenant governor; Bill Burton, land commissioner; Jeff Weems, railroad commissioner; and Barbara Ann Radnofsky, attorney general.
The event begins at 7 p.m. in the Brown-Lupton University Union on Stadium Drive.
